In 2020, OneNet became the first New Zealand cloud computing service provider to be awarded ISO27001 certification.
This is in recognition of its compliance with the most widely recognised information security standard of the ISO/IEC 27001 group.
The ISO27001 certification sets “gold standard” parameters for establishing an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure.
OneNet’s commitment to the security of its own systems is evidenced by its compliance with the international Cloud Security Alliance requirements and the New Zealand Cloud Computing Code of Practice.
OneNet became the ninth cloud computing provider in the world, between Microsoft and Amazon, to register their Cloud Security Alliance STAR risk profile.
In addition to this, OneNet was the first New Zealand cloud computing provider to commit to the Cloud Computing Code of Practice.
